the three-digit code for the pink cylindrical thing. I tried counting the stars (two screens of 7 stars, one of 4), and trying various combinations of those numbers (774, 477 etc.), but that didn't work.

Look at the shapes that the UFOs draw on the same screen as the box. You have to stay on the screen a bit and they appear.

You need a new bottle, the paper is a code, notice that two numbers are a different color

I know I did this game a little late but I actually got out with no help and not being able to read anything that the dog was saying =)
