Can't figure out code behind the picture... i was thinking that it was maybe Japanese for Hello as it seems you can't put numbers in it but i can't find how it would be spelled in English...

some kind of yellow key, after using the colour code behind the painting.how do i make it work as a key to get out?? iv used all the available tools (plies, screwdriver, scissors, magnet with wire) but nonthing happens...
