So far I have a

a 50 Y piece and a bar.

I've found

a book with clues, a vending machin, a tall vessel (or something) with the yen sign on it. A picture with screws in the corners, and two other places.

Not sure where to find the other yens (If any) in the room.

EDIT:I've also seen

the cat under the bed (click towards the foot of the bed), a crack in the wall by the yellow bookshelf, another yen (can't pick up) and a blindfolded Mickey Mouse.

Edit:

100 yen coin on end of bar, and a bow tie.

EDIT:Ok I

bought a hammer from the vending machine, used it on the crack on the wall, picked up the teddy bear, put the bowtie on the teddy bear, put the teddy bear in the weird machine to the right of the bookshelf (not sure what to call it), got a 500 yen coin, used the hammer on the vase, and got a 1,5,10, and 50 yen coins.

EDIT:Finally got

the 100 yen off the back of the picture. I did it by getting rid of the 100 yen already in my inventory.

Going to have to stop until someone smart comes in, since I cannot figure out the cash machine. *sigh*

when you get the money for the teddy you can keep on clicking on the teddy and another coin falls

In the book you find in the back a hint about the cash machine. I had to find help on how to operate the machine..

add up all the numbers that go with the figures, hit the down arrow after input numbers, put in 1000 paper, hit down arrow again,

Stuck with

1, 5, 10, 100, 500, have four batteries?? (red things with two +s and two -s), a screwdriver (used more than once) and a hammer (also used more than once)...

What do I

put in the door to open it?

SueJ, I don't have it all figured out

but the batteries are plus and minus. Notice the clock position on them. From the book, one side need 24999Y and the other 102Y
