it was under a rock in the path

zoom in on the large wooden table in front of the house.put the 3 fireflies in the mesh.they light it up to reveal the 3rd egg....

When he isn't in front of the door (at least that was what I did and it worked) you have to grab the potion and "give" it to the guard.

if that doesn't work, then I don't know either.
