Got item 1, 2 (used), 6 & 7. Had to enlarge page to see items.
Well - using 2 wrapped up the game. So guess I should hold on to it or pick a different option to click?
Found a couple of more things but when you something you are asked something - so translation is required.

Lost in translation aswell and I had to start over twice because I gave the wrong answers.
Looked at EG24 and there is a walkthrough.
The question from the frog is: how many cats do you see in the painting.

The question from the rat is: which candle is blue.

first click left button, use your lit candle on the left big candle

The others are purple.
From the frog and the rat you get items. Use 2 items on the tree and you will get a red monster.
