That was my favorite board game when I was a little kid. It was nice to see.

      This one was fun.

I'm posting this since we cannot read the Japanese book:

The concept of Othello is the same as "Reversi" You must trap the pieces & flip them all to your color to win the game. So if you are player "black" you want to place a piece on the board at the opposite end of another black piece & trap the white ones between so you can flip them over to the color black. If you are player "white" you want to trap the black pieces between to flip them & make them all white. The game is about claiming all the pieces to win. You need to know that concept to "get it" when solving the puzzle.

I can't do anything with the Othello game at all .. and I CAN play it!
So far, I've opened the box with the code from the photocopied licence and have a crowbar but now I'm stuck.

The game on the table isn't the one we are talking about...it got me confused too but if you play the game you'll know what we mean in the end.

                        Ok - out.
Was easy game apart from the Othello bit (which I admit I've never played) and understanding how we then came to the code for box upstairs... nevermind.
You dont have to be crazy to work here - but it sure helps
