I'm not sure if I'm giving up too soon or just in the nick of time. I could only find

a paperclip

which I can't seem to use anywhere and I can't seem to put back in my inventory without frustration. I saw clues to puzzles but how they interrelate is beyond me today.

to get more hints, but I don't get this one...
