I am presently trying to figure out what to do with my 6 coloured symbols. Do I even have enough of them?

EDIT: I tried a place

and now that I have an idea how to arrange them, I can't get them back!

Ga! There should/must be a way to retrieve the symbols if you make a mistake. I had to start over two times before I got them in the right order. I'm out.
