Hmmm... stuck with

a quarter, a dime, a pin (?), and a gas can. Used fire extinguisher, shovel, and two keys.

Made some progress (help from EG24), but we're all stuck together with

two quarters and a dime, a gas can, and the car key...

Found 2 quarters and dime
Put ladder up to roof to see 25 #'s
Put out fire to see an odd shape
Put nozzle (from barrel puzzle) and hose on gas pump
Found code on wall

Looking for somewhere to dig

Edit: Also just found car keys, strange, no keyholes on the car

Final code for garage had to be almost given away by EGL themselves!

the four sets of numbers are to be subtracted; i.e., 7=9 is 9-7= 2 etc..

Thanks, I am out now. Nice game but I think the code for the 2 bucks could have been done better.

I have

60 cents, nossle (I thought was a weird knife), shovel, & gas can. Used ladder and saw 5 lines of numbers with 5 in each row. Used one key and put out a fire.

Saw a hint on where to use one and a hint on what I need to use another - just need to locate it.
I used an item to get an item that I used. Two places for codes to deal with and passed my bedtime. Night ..
