6 items - 3 placed. EDIT: 9 iitems - 6 used. I'm down stairs now. All but 6 items - if each square has an item. In another area now. And another area. Looking for clue to shape I need to make.

missing 6th in first row and last 3 in second row. and what to do with first item in second row? & 3rd in second row should be a perfect fit ..
EDIT - figured that out. Yippee .. onward ..

You are on the right track.

I'm stuck with:

a Kitana, a ladel, and a white rod. Also a puzzle I can't seem to find a clue for.

Sure.

You need to look at the space where the ninja stars were. Take not of the order. The key is the door doesn't open when you solve the puzzle, just follow the arrow and think of the sliding doors.

Duh...I'm so glad that I'm already blonde because otherwise I was forced to dye my hair. I never would have thought of that. Maybe I need to come back tomorrow after a good nights rest.

I now have the same items that you have and no idea about that puzzle either.
I have a new item now but no luck with the puzzle yet.
