Lights come on after you've

lit all of the candles (12) in both views.

I'm stuck with

a candle and wand in inventory and rope hung out the window.

Finally clicked on a hot spot and got out the window, but looks like I drowned in a lake??? Cute animation.

can't find flint or match ... lots of candles but still unlit.
Took a break to the porch - now to search more.'
Just found two things - placed one .. too dark for me.

I'm stading on a balcony, but stuck. Is there some minimal hot spot that I should find or is there still something I need to do? The only things left in my inventory are

candle and wand

and so far I haven't been able to use either in this scene.

POP: I managed to find the hot spot.

click the rope with the wand somewhere about midway between the princess and the edge of the balcony.

I want to get out of the window but I can't find a rope. I could just jump and hope that the landing will be soft but not sure if that is a good idea.
Saw 2 places that need a key but I haven't found one yet.
I have

lit candle, sword, wand, had mirror(used), had ball(used)

Must find help elsewhere because there are no answers here for me yet.

Okay, needed one hint to get the rest my self.

in the view with the trapdoor there is a stone in the wall with a key in it

came back and at least have lights this time and one other item. pixel hunt I take it as I get a view and when I go back to look again it is picky. And another item - neither have I used.
"roaring escape" ? I guess I hold my breath, kick off shoes, ditch dress, and then swim like crazy?
