I have half a key

EDIT: I suck. I have clues for codes and places to put codes but I can't seem to get them to match up.

a make-up brush with make-up on it, and the 1/2 key

@ Slerk, which 1/2 do you have, and where did you find it ?

PROGRESS:

have crow bar now (used) and found other 1/2 of key

Completely stuck where/how to use 2nd clue from computer ...must have something to do with

the colored rug

count the stripes of the rug, starting from left to right. First one is 19= blue stripe, then one to the right= green. Second one is 9 =darkblue, then one to right= white. And so on.

Then you get the code

green, white, purple, white, purple

Use the code on

the left mirror (near the floor) in the other room

the left half of the key. I got it by

inserting a slat into the arm of the chair. I found the slat

behind the curtains

Out! Nice codes, but the most tough part was where to use certain items/codes.

@Slerk, if you are still stuck with a half key only

check the clock on the left of the bed and notice it says west coast. Now look under the desk on the right and notice east coast.

What is the east coast time?

+3 hours. 12:21 + 3 hours = 15:21

The color code won't work for me on the mirror,,,does anyone know the right colors???
Also can't find the crowbar, but have a knife that I don't know what to do with
Need other 1/2 of key, not having much luck with this game

in the wardrobe room on the top closet on the right

Follow the line, it touches: green, blue, yellow, white, cyan, red.

The spoilers that bizzz posted are correct. But in case it's not fully clear..

Use the color code you got from the pc

at the bottom of the right white door in the wardrobe room (bizzz calls the white door a mirror)

Start counting the colors on the rug from the left
the 19th color = blue. Go one to the right = green
the 9th color = blue. Go one to the right = green.
the 22th color = red. Go one to the right = violet.
the 28th color = green. Go one to the left = white.
the 35th color = white. Go one to the left = violet.

Thus the code = green, white, violet, white, violet.

Edit: ah, you have to play this game in a certain order to make codes and items work. that's why your code doesn't work.. yet.

To get crowbar

Check the first folder on the pc, and compare the content with what's on the phone. The name that has the same color at both spots is the number you have to dial.
