you need to open the safe. click on top of it for clues.

I have done this but the numbers are not working. I guess I have the order wrong...?

Ok, I got past the code but I am still stuck. I have used

cat, sponge thing and water. The cat dug,

but the hole is still too small.

...giving up...no one seems to be around.

I think you have to

use the pitchfork on the stack of hay to find scissors, hone them with the stone you got from the safe and then cut the hole larger. Get the stone wet before using it.

on the top of the box there is a sequence of numbers, plus what looks like the letter 'Y',

but I'm stuck at that point.

Just put together the numbers together according to the colors, it might take a few times to right them down. The 'Y" thing? There is a tile that looks kind of like a female symbol
