Yikes! Lots of puzzles...looking for clues.

a screwdriver which I used to get a blue key. No key hole yet

Found the key hole but it didn't seem to open anything, so I still feel

disembodied Mario brother head, lamp over bed, keyhole (I have already put the key and one shape in it), book with baffling numbers, soccer ball and, perhaps the wallpaper border (although I have already "used" it so I am unsure if it has more to say, so to speak), maybe the book colours?

I am so stuck I am stopping for a while.

I'm stuck right where slerk and old biker are stuck too. I'm gonna look for a walkthrough because I do want to finish this one but it is harder then usual.
Okay, looks like I was on the right track but I used caps and that wasn't good.

5 letters no caps, disembodied head(as slerk calls it )

Made a big progress after that but now I'm stuck again.
I don't know how to use the numbers on the books or the numbers in the other book.

+1 means 1 to the left of the white book, so that is yellow

Use this on the pillows of the right bed.
I now have unlocked the drawer where you use the key and the figures.
It gave me something that I'll need to use on the book with all the numbers inside, I think
And I'm out.
