hmm was moving right along.

puzzle = pen, used pen & read my writing, hook and string, and a marble/ball.

two more puzzles I'm puzzled about. a few views that are not talking to me.

You have to use the writing from pen on the number code box.

50, 1969, 9 - make the other numbers blank

like this: "blank" "blank" 5 0

The thing you get from solving the red circle puzzle is a

drill battery.

The thing that is on the right front pillar is a

drill bit.

The blue thing is a

lens - you'll know when to use it.

Tank09, I've different numbers .. and I tried that but perhaps needed to scoot something over .. 12, 11, 10, 8 - I tried several different ways. restarting in hopes of something I can work with.
same thing .. I'll try again later.

You get the numbers from the book, which are

50 (as in the number of US states), 1969 (the year man first walked on the moon), and 9 (the missing number.

As tank said, you use blanks when entering the numbers as in "blank" "blank" 50 or "blank" "blank" "bank" 9. Do not input zeros. As you are scrolling through the numbers, you will find a "blank" after the number 9.
