I've gotten a good way, done a lot of things, now stuck with

a trashcan full of water & a notebook(after using eraser on it)

need a key

Got the above, plus a key

that got me a capsule, that I stuck in the snow and got another note. I think I need to combine that with the notebook (with the transparency) to get kanji to put in the katakana.

But I will have to return later

The symbols you get from the notebook shallowly resemble the katakana

Just struggled through the other page of the notebook, I got

la so ti la do re fa ti re mi.

I'm tone-deaf, kill me please.

do re mi fa so la si are notes, perhaps it's a sequence of the song "rednosed reindeer".

Now i'm stuck with safe. Did the drawer thing, can't do anything with the desk hint.

My strip to fix notes is now lighter, after the drawerclue. Hm

AH! Perhaps, the black and white circles a piano keys! I must do it in German, sorry.

First row: cis dis
second: c d e
third: fis gis ais/b
fourth: f g a h
So the whites are
second: do re mi
fourth: fa sol la si

The darkone I don't know!
Now try your sequence and puzzle the half notes!!

I am way behind. Took me very long to get that key that Tipper mentioned

Open and close the curtain a few times. Look under the bed to see if it felt yet or not.
When it's there, zoom out from under the bed, and click the feet end of the bed. Then click the left side of the bed's leg, et voila.

I tried Fern's sequence sometimes, but nothing happens!
What am I missing?

Pfew, I had an awful time translating the katakana of the left page note book. But I am out.
Good game, nice end puzzle. No serious language barrier.

Use the foreign pronouncement of the katakana characters.
This translates to: ra so shi ra do re fa shi re mi
shi = ti, ra = la, so = sol
so you'll get: la sol ti la do re fa ti re mi = A G B A C D F B D E

Use the white buttons on the safe only. From left to right, top to bottom, those are:
CDE
FGAB
