two views under the chair

"Play now or mini-game" ... I clicked on play now. Can't seem to move about - clicked on something to the right and another page opened up. So reloaded.
Got a "play" this time. after clicking "play now" - in case anyone else has this problem. Probably just me. Just two items so far.
I'm having trouble with the combination lock.

note - read, piece of computer screen - used, hammer, acholhal - used.

Been around the room numerous times trying to find a new view among other things. Giving up.

So far I've got

broken monitor, alcohol, note (use broken monitor on bed in close up view of upper corner) keys from chest (count the #of ornaments on tree, for the right answer

hammer (go to upper right hand shelf where tank and alcohol are, and reach. When it says you need to reach up there, use the computer chair.

and that is all, so far. Except you might want a different set of friends to spend Christmas with next year.

Got further. After you

get the hammer, go into the "under the chair view where you can see the chair (behind chair with the arrow pointing up). In the shadow to the left of the chair, a little below seat height, should be an allen wrench (small, silver "L" shaped thing). Use the alcohol on door hinges to remove paint, and allen wrench and hammer on door to escape.

I'm glad your "friends" are nice enough to leave you some food.
