ha... thought at the end there was a bug, but

just click and drag the chain from inventory to window

Stuck with metal ball and chain. Used all my inventory

wood, kero, axe, hammer, match(es), broom, opened chest, wedge, took boards down from window

But stuck.

POP, just used metal ball and chain

put ball on stand and connected chain to ball

, but not yet out.

after using chain, it disappeared from inventory, it was only after I zoomed in on window that the chain somehow showed up. You must then drag chain to window when zoomed in
