Im stuck. I have a green ball and dont know what to do with it. Il just persevere with the random clicking untill something becomes apparent.

After you click the lights, remove the lines you get, from the 8s then place the resulting numbers in the correct positions on the number puzzle

Red can be 2, 6, or 8 though .. oh .. now I see what you mean. I'd gone to the porch to get away from it for awhile. I did find item 1, 2 and and 2 items for space 6. - unless I found and used something I forgot about. Thanks Scissors
OK - done tons and have 3 of 4. So getting there. found the other. Have 2 unused items (I think)

Not sure if got something by having numbers light up or not. Need to keep better notes.
Joined two things - thought I had it but nope .. *sigh*

Had dinner .. now can I finish? need a lightbulb to come on over my head.

Ok, I made

the sling shot with mirror holder, thing from green drawer & I inserted the green ball

but have no idea where to use it or the

stick from floor & red pan that had water

Help!

the happy coin ending. I don't think there is one.

subtract 2011 from 8792 and you will get the green ball.

@MrsC--

Have pan in "About This" and use the stick with it. It should be used on the ceiling in the scene with the two doors, and check around where the thing falls.

@Tannim--

Use the screwdriver (should be in the scene with the papered doors that are stuck-the one on the right will be open, with the mats and two drawers showing). Unscrew the mirror, and use the leather and the ball to get the key (out the window).

You'll find it after getting the green box in the closet open.
Sorry but I don't remember which numbers to use there.
What I do remember is

look at the numbers that are backwards and highlight those
