have all the tools off the wall and two irons in the fire but cant seem to do anything else. Hint?

Bird you need four irons before you can use the tools

The colourcodes were no fun, tried from left to right, right to left, could'nt see good what's dark and light brown and so on.

I can't get the four circles with the lever. I see the hint but it isn't working.
POP again! I was looking at wrong clue. I thought it was in the opening room but it is elsewhere.
