To further explain Bip's clue for the lock:

the guard's pocket is the clue.

What Bip was trying to explain was o t t f f = one two three, etc. Now you know what all those letters stand for, apply the same theory with what's in brackets. Same hint applies, just one is already done for you. What the brackets are hinting at is the order that the numbers [letters] below them go in.

Even with Bip's help, it took me AGES to figure that one out.

And for the non-complying yellow arrow, you're still technically playing the game. You need to make a couple clicks and then you have to click the White Arrow down in the Dialogue Box till there are no more before you can click the yellow arrow.
