Stuck as all get-out on these notes, but this game is put together really nicely.

It sounds like he is playing

middle C, and D# and G an octave above that. But it looks like he is playing all three notes in the same octave, that of middle C.

So I'm sure I'm overthinking this.

EDIT: Aaaaaand that did it. What you see, not what you hear.

Got a headache from the dancing screen. And I was not able to use any inventory: when I try to get some from top of screen, the whole picture goes up, when I want go down again, the inventory disappeared.
It's interesting made, but for me not playable.

broken piece of metal - from shelf over computer I think. Sharp piece of metal from drawer. power transformer on floor near snare drum.

dinner time ..off I go for a while - will leave up in hopes of making more progress.

Back. Opened door and went out .. but was still in the room? and an item Ihad placed was no longer there? I did find a replacement in a place where there had not been one. LOL spooky.

broken handle and broken blade

tried to glue - informed I'm missing pieces. I can play notes on piano but do not see somone playing notes - one note yes when I first turn it on but that is it. Do get a chord on the string instrument when strummed.
I'm stuck .. Maybe open the door again? Nope - that didn't do anything this time.
Off to do something else.

I have to return, the music puzzles has me stumped, if it is a puzzle.

Going out the door appears to be going to the same room, but it is not. You can find different stuff in the new room. I have assembled my dagger.

But I have to quit for now
