How do the pyramid puzzles work please?

and I can't find my dictionary to order a number of items.
pyamid - two lower circles added together = the circle above them.

so the number right of the 2 is a 4 as 2+4=6

out .. but not a good score of course. I'm slow.

Ha, I have been wondering what those items were for because I had no idea where to use them and I had tried everything...but the end reveals all
I used Google for those weird words that are written somewhere and that worked perfectly...
