I must be missing something real obvious....can do nothing except play with the fish

There are things that you can find...
I have found

broom(used), screwdriver(used), crowbar(used), crank(used)

Stuck at the 5 digit code as well...
Dismembered one item and got two now, used one part as a lever...
Found a box that needs a 4 digit code...
I have no idea where to find hints for these codes...
Found 5 digits...used one of the dismembered parts on the place where I have also used the SD

Have been able to get into another part of the ship and now I need a key...
Found a code on EG24 for the box but it doesn't work and nothing else works either so I'll have to quit 'cause I'm not getting anywhere....
POP forgot a part and it did seem to work....although there isn't a clarification on how to find the number for the box

1035 and use SD (that part I forgot)

Okay, I think I'm done now....wish they would make an English translation...
