Got the

green paint at the foot of the bed.

yellow paint in the middle filing cabinet.

in the bottom filing cabinet.

blue paint beside the filing cabinet, to the right.

cyan paint in the freezer.

orange paint behind the melon in the fridge.

in top drawer, click the back after it's open.

And I'm out.

Definitely not an easy game for me!

Finding the paints was easy, but now I'm stuck in an orange room with door that needs a code. The hint is "white = SomethingInJapanese black = SomethingInJapanese orange = ?", and as I don't read Japanese, I have no idea what the code might be. Am I really this dense, because everyone else seems to have managed to escape easily.

Color me puzzled.

The end code depends on which colour of room you are in. The colour of room you are in depends on which paint you got last.
I am in a red room and for me the answer is determined by the position of the letters in the alphabet.
so red=

Well as it is as TANUKI is saying then our password would be numbers too but it isn't working...
Can't find an answer for the orange room so my suggestion to others is....don't end up in the orange room
