Hate the math!

I do not understand those math grids. I always play the game until I get to that then I quit. I wish someone would post "how" to work the grids and pyramids, instead of just the answers, then I could learn how. Guess I'm not one of the Smart People. Maybe with a good teacher?

where is the fork?
number puzzle is like a crossword puzzle but no repeat in number in a line. so for 23 the answer is 9, 8, & 6 in some order. for 6 the answer is 1, 2, & 3 in some order. Hope that helps.

top line across and bottom line across are both 1 8 in this puzzle

I found another answer to the Kakuro puzzle that did not work: 27, 194, 719, 18
