I've picked up several things but dont know how to use them.

This game is loosely based on the Wizard of Oz, you are missing a tin man which you need to make.
Also important is the sentence which you will find, it will give a code for the safe.

where is the flashlight? have batteries but can't find flashlight (assuming we need one to see the writing in the drawer?)

There isn't a flashlight in the game, the batteries are for a codebox.

That was a dark, ominous look at the Wizard of Oz. All I needed was the

Pinpad for the door, and I never found it.

You need to find the red ruby shoes which gives you the code for the exit. Read page 15 carefully how to find the new door.

Where do I find the key to open the desk?

The scarecrow has it, but the order is first tinman, second the loin and third the scarecrow.

After you light the scarecrow, look at what's carved in the desk drawer in the opening scene, you get a key for the desk from the scarecrow.

I'm out, finally. It took me awhile, since I was getting water from

the bathroom sink, not the kitchen sink.

I'm so lost lol. I have Lion, 11 papers, scare crow, knife (which I already used on the thing that was stuck) spoons, water thingy, some can with blue label (missing item) funnel, screw driver (which I used on the vent) papers, picture of dorthy, (missing item, battery, battery, tin, bottle of something, bottle of something, (missing item), (missing item), globe, screws. WHAT NEXT???

Take the coffee pot and fill it with water from the kitchen sink. Put it on the stove to boil, and steam the paper off the can. Pick up the spoons (kitchen cabinets) and bend them. Attach them to the labeless can, put the pinball ball (under bed) on top, and add the funnel (kitchen cabinet). Use the screws from the vent to attach all those things, and the screwdriver to tighten them. You will have a tin man, and you give him the picture of Dorothy--make sure you check the Dorothy photo up close, first.
