Oh boy, why is "room" and "about items" written in English but the rest isn't???

Okay, got box open and used item to get plate off. Now see code with 3 digits...done what Kzin wrote in his spoiler but it isn't doing anything. Must not be done in the room yet, I think but I am out of ideas on what to do or where/how to use my items
