simple algebra, just plug in the missing number to the equation and its easy

No language barrier! When you see f(3), plug that three into the x of the equation that you see, etc. Watch those negatives though!

flower pot? can't turn it - so far. and If I recall my math from eons ago I know value of F. Have a time grabbing items to move and use.

I've key, lighter, knife, pear, bread, pot - everything has been used at least once. & I'm concerned about the dry pot on the stove..

Need to move on with something else - a snail mail waiting.
