After the intro, you're looking at a desk with an orange chair. Click the door on the right to zoom in, and take the red wire that's around the door handle. Zoom back out to the main view. Click the chair to zoom in, then click it again to move it out of the way. Click the top of the desk where the chair was to zoom in again, then click the side of the computer tower. Take the doorstop. Click the orange button on the tower to turn on the computer, then zoom out one time.

Click under the desk, then take the knife blade. Zoom out to the chair view, then click the chair again to move it back. Click the computer screen twice to zoom in on it.

On the desktop are three icons. The recycle bin doesn't do anything. Click the key. It wants a password, which you don't have yet. Click the X in the top left to close this screen. Click the other icon, a calendar. You can scroll through all twelve months, and ten numbers are highlighted, five in red and five in blue. Make a note of those numbers, and their color. It's probably important later. Zoom all the way back out to the starting screen.

Go right. Click on those blue lockers on the left. The second one down has a roll of tape, which you should take because this is an escape game. Zoom back out, and then click the plant. You don't have to do this yet, but we both know you're going to anyway, so let's just get this out of the way. Take the plant. Zoom in on the plant stand, and there's a key in there...which you can't take yet. Zoom back out to the main view.

Click the blue lockers again and check them again, just in case you missed something. Now they won't open. That's one magic plant. Let's put the plant back. Now the lockers open again. We'll monkey with the plant later. Zoom back to the main view.

Click the giant wall safe, and try to open it. Nope, it's locked. Zoom back out again.

Go right. A door! No, you can't open it either. Of course not. There are four teal lockers here, but three of them are empty and one of them is locked. We'll check that later, after we have a key. Zoom back out to the main view.

Go right. Zoom in on the small cabinet on the left. There's a fax machine on top, that doesn't do anything. The top drawer has a strange locking mechanism in it that controls the bottom drawer. There are pictures of three animals on it. The middle drawer has a lockbox with a two-digit passcode with a star symbol on it, and the bottom drawer is locked, which you would know already if you had looked in the top drawer. To the right of the cabinet is an electrical outlet. Zoom back out, then zoom in twice on the large TV on the wall.

Click behind the TV, then click the label on the back to open a website in a new window. This website features a number of hexagons that display something when you mouse over them. If you go around counterclockwise from the top left, you get a message. Kind of. It reads

If you notice the colors (and you really should notice the colors, it's important), the minus sign is blue and the plus sign is red. Just like the numbers on the calendar, come to think of it. Zoom back out to the main view.

Go right. Zoom back in on the computer, and open the calendar again. Taking the hint from the other website and putting it together with what's on the calendar, what if you added all the red numbers, then subtracted the blue numbers? That leaves you with

which would seem to be the star number from the middle drawer. Let's go back there and try it. It worked, but only if you actually opened up the new website. Back up and click the box again, taking your hard-earned treasure which is...an origami book Open it up and learn how to make a triangle, from a square piece of paper. Well.

Go to the electrical outlet beside the cabinet. I don't know about you, but I get the urge to jab something metal into an electrical outlet every time I see one. Luckily, we have some wire and a knife blade. Use the knife on the wire to strip the ends. Jab that into the outlet like you've been dying to do. It shorts out the electricity in the room momentarily, but the power comes back on after a second. Let's go see what we broke.

Go to the safe and open it up. Take the framing square Whatever's in the back of the safe, we can't read, so it's probably important. Go back to the door to your right. It opens now! Click near the bottom corner of the door and prop it open with the door stop, just in case. Go on in.

The first thing you see is another plant holder. That's probably important. Going all the way into the room, you see another computer, and some black hexagon-shaped lockers in the corner. Naturally, none of the lockers open. While you're there though, click behind the desk to see if anything's hidden back there. Sure enough, there's a...thing on the wall, with some shapes that look like the lockers, except in reverse. They're all red, which probably means you unlock them here. But more on that later.

Go back out to the main room and get the plant, and put it into the plant holder in the small office you just opened up. Zoom in on the computer and turn it on with the orange button on the front of the tower. Click just to the left of the screen to look beside the computer, and click the shiny round box on the table. It says USB at the bottom, so this must be some kind of USB hub. Zoom out once, then click the screen to zoom in on it, and click all four of the camera icons on the desktop. Hey, there's something fishy about that second one. I know that plant isn't there anymore. Let's go find see what's going on here.

The only place in the room that can see that angle is going to be right above the main door. Go there, and look up. There's a camera all right, but there's something in front of it. Use something long to help you reach it. Something like the framing square, perhaps. Take the picture of the big safe door, with the plant that you moved. Examine it a little more closely and it turns over, and you see a QR code along with those three animals from the top drawer.

As long as you're out here, go back to the large TV and click above it to look up, since you saw an airplane up there in one of the cameras. There it is, but you can't reach it right now.

For reasons that are probably explained somewhere in Japanese, go back to the weird wall panel beside the black lockers in the small office. Use your new picture on the circle at the top, and the hexagon shapes turn blue. That probably means they're open. And they are. Once again there's only one locker with any goodies in it, the third one down. It's a panel similar to the one in the top drawer, except this one has figurines on it. The only one you can take, though, is the frog

Take the frog and put it in the frog space in the top drawer. Go back and get the fly If you try to put the fly on its spot in the top drawer, you can't. Here's where reading Japanese would come in handy, because I just bet there's a hint on the back of the picture that explains this. It looks like a variation on the river crossing puzzle, so you can't leave the frog with the fly or the frog will eat the fly. The snake would eat the frog, given half a chance, so you can't leave them alone either. The fly and the snake don't seem to have any quarrels. Use the fly on the frog to exchange them. Go back and swap the frog for the snake, place the snake, then finally go get the frog and place the frog.

At this, the bottom drawer unlocks. After all that, there has to be something amazing in there, like a screwdriver or a key. Open it up and...it's a playing card. The two of spades, specifically, but what are you going to do with this?

Go back into the small office, but when you're looking at the plant, click the top of the screen to look up. There's a thing up there. Use your framing square to grab it. It looks like a book of some kind. Examine it, and it's a book that teaches you how to throw playing cards. That's handy to know.

Go back to the view with the airplane, and use your card on it to throw it. Hey, you just learned about this thirty seconds ago, surely you're an expert already. You manage to hit the string, but the card bounces off and lands on the floor below you. Looks like we're gonna need a sharper card. Zoom back out to the main view.

Click just above the blue table to look behind it and pick up your card. It's time to do something completely rational, and use your tape on the card, and then the knife to make a spinning playing card of certain death. Seriously, don't try this at home. Do try it on the airplane, though. It cuts through the string and doesn't put your eye out, so that's a win. Look behind the table and pick up the airplane.

Looking over the plane, there's a small rectangle on the other side. Click it, and USB appears in the text at the bottom, so it definitely plugs into the office computer somehow. But we'll need a cable, and we've looked everywhere already. Everywhere except that one locked locker. Go to the first plant stand and take the key, which you can get now for some reason.

Remove the door stop from the office door and click the door to close it. Use the key on the locked locker and take the USB cable. Go back into the office and plug the USB cable into the USB hub, then attach the airplane to the other end of the cable. Go back to the computer screen, and there's another icon on the desktop that looks like a fax machine. Click it, and a message comes up at the bottom, so something happened.

Go to the fax machine, and take the paper. It sure is covered in dots. Examine it and click it a few times to fold it up. You need to have looked at the inside of the origami book for this to work. Once you've folded it a couple of times, it looks...like a bunch of dots. Tilt your head to the right and you should see something.

Go turn the first computer back on, and go to the desktop and click the key. Enter the code from the paper you just folded as the password. Click Enter and the screen says OK. The exit door is now unlocked. Nothing left to do in here but go out the door, and click through the end cutscene, where it appears an office has been broken into.

Click the bottom of the safe a couple of times to expose a hidden compartment and take a CD-ROM, which you're either stealing or saving. Click the chart that appears to get FIN.

was not possible for me to open the calendar again....so no chance for me to write down the numbers....maybe a bug...
