Gate Escape 5 is another Japanese point and click ,room escape game by Gatamari. Search for clue's and items, use them ,solve puzzles and escape.

mummy statue, pink ball, blue tube piece, spatula

and there were already 4 items in inventory when I started.
I have now used 3 of them, knife, pointer, sd

Managed to do the wall puzzle,

using the pink ball and got

another statue.

to get dirt of the picture
Noticed the riddle like drawings and used that on the same shaped buttons near the blue pyramid

4, 2, 3

Got another statue and used that on the cube that says Start

you can flip the Sphinx in inventory

This gave me a hint for the left/right buttons near the pipe

Found a note for the blue pyramid.

Repaired the pipes downstairs
Found a note for the arrow picture....took me a few tries but managed to get it down

Found a hint on how to place the statues

used spatula on the arrow picture

Placed the statues, played with the light switches near the statues and near the stairs
Looked at the statue pictures upstairs again and noticed a difference in one of them
Tried that and now it worked and something came up from the floor after pushing the button on the floor
Got

sleeping beetle

Only 2 items left in inventory that I can use
No idea why I did what I did but I have used them

in the pipe

Have a new room
Noted down everything that is on the wall, discovered that in order to get all the puzzles done, I'll need to turn off some light switches
Finally the book comes in handy


I have no idea if I made it out, think I am stuck in the 6th game now that is not yet available...
Been at it for more then 2 hours and for some things I had to look for help but some were logical if I gave it some thought

had to keep on saving the game it took so long - though I think it should be re-named "the singing beetle"
