Not getting the fence puzzle...so I am stuck

I'm giving it a try....
See fence clue....pressed combo box accordingly and now floor is filled in.

Small white combo box on L/S wall...back a couple of screens.

Press top, middle, or bottom buttons on wall combo, as per positions of '1 to 5' numbers on fence.

I see 2nd wall box is now open; 3 digits needed...
See items tried counts, tried portions....never thought of 1 number being 2 digits.

Wow, last one is tough....I see paper (red herring?) plus, circles /w arrows and compass....?
Ok, red herring wasn't a red herring...I need to 'read' clues....

Math sign must apply for each digit.

Order numbers where each number '<' next number.

Solved next puzzle and out......excellent game!

Thanks graywolf for help with the fence puzzle....should have figured that one out my self but trying it your way is the only thing I didn't do

I am out now too but the last one didn't gave me the heads up that I had the correct order so I kept clicking until I backed away from the puzzle and saw the doors were open
