Got a

key (used on desk in room with chicken) and got a hammer, a ball (next to chair), and a knife (arrow box, look at deer's antlers), lost hammer, and opened window without letter D on it), and opened credenza with clicker only, and got a colour-coded box.

Used knife on

left blue pillow on bed and got lighter, and stuck. Ah-hah!! Thanks, EG24. The colour code is

the letters around the room A(I had to brute force it, but it's under the couch cushion), B(lamp), C(above door), D(window)

(got an axe), the numbers on the chest next to the book shelf are the stripes on the scarf next to the door, and you get a snow pick. You use the snow pick on the open window and get a blue ball. Use the blue ball in the clear box next to dresser and get bellows. Use axe on wood next to door and gather the firewood and put it in the fireplace. Use the lighter to start the fire, and use the bellows to get the fire going.

if you use the books on the shelves above the big chest, and the couch colors, you can figure out the final hanging cabinet (Yellow books-1, brown books-5, then you commit an atrocious, heinious crime of book burning and get a key and leave. (What a barbaric act that is)

So far have ball, key...used key and have hammer.
See 2 letters and opened a window. Used hammer and see colour combo box.
Solved arrow combo...now have knife. Used knife and now have lighter.

Deer antlers.

Opened chest combo and have pick axe. Used axe and have 2nd ball.

Scarf.

Found 3rd letter (very tiny hotspot)...can't force colour combo.
Couldn't figure out cabinet combo....had to get help....thanks @Yvonne!
Now have book...
Opened colour combo (lucky click as last colour is wrong)...and now have axe.

YGR; and then black, not blue as shown.

3 letters plus letter 'C' over door.

Used axe and then used all items to make fire...got key and out.
