Opened 3 4-digit combos...have tweezers, switch and SD. Used CD, nothing happened.

Used Tweezers, now have razor, used and now have place for switch.
      Pushed switch...surprise; another 4-digit combo.
Found unlocked drawer and now have remote, used to open another 4-digit combo and have key.
Used key, found next combo and out.
      Nice game!

Logic rules.....somewhere, at least I hope so....

A student who changes the course of history is probably taking an exam.

As long as the answer is right, who cares if the question is wrong?
