Giving it a try...
1st round, I have knife, water, paper and 20 candies.
Used knife; have 'S' coin. Used paper; have code...now 22 candies.

R/S of couch; on faded square.

Combine water + paper.

Solved code for wardrobe....now have 2-'S'coins and 24 candies.

Note down 6 symbols/numbers from 2 books(in order) and match to paper code.

Unlocked desk; have 'K' coin and 25 candies.

Water flower.

Finally; opened my eyes and figured out desk combo...26 candies now.

Numbers in first scene...'connect the dots' to see numbers.

Entered colour combo as per above hint(thanks @Pamster) and now have 'I' coin.
