Found cross, see colour code clue and opened chest to get magnifier.
I see what the magnifier shows me...not sure how to get there though?
Stuck, but finally got 2-digit cabinet code and now have camera.

Add together all 5 block letters (eg/ a=1, b=2, etc).

Took pic and now have muscial clue....used item to modify view of clue.
Used clue to open tall cabinet and now have ladder.
Not sure what to do /w bats...tried clicking in colour order, nothing...but I still haven't solved red book clue?
Finally, it was what I thought but, I think I was clicking twice...click once only.

Click in book colour order /w cross - click once on each.

Got red key and now out....strange, but good.
