Got the drawers to work after finding the hint for them. Fiddled with the item I found but otherwise I am stuck.

Edit:
Got out but with a lot of help.

Great game so far. Once around the room and I found 9 items. 6 are still usable and 3 are greyed out.

Going back in.....

EDIT: Found 10th item and combined two items with one in a door and "something" clicked. Looking to see what may have opened.
Not progressing as quickly now.
