I have

a box of matches with a cat on it, and two gifts with 3 digit numbers.

I am totally stuck. Ok, it helps when you

plug in the tree. That will give you the code for the picture. That gave me a box with four squares that jibes with the 4 angels below the picture.

Opened the door to the dining room, and found another puzzle.
Use

matches on fireplace (red "card" with black cat on it) and numbers will appear on the 3 cards above the fireplace (it takes time. Patience is your friend). It will open the cupboard in the dining room, which will give you a loaf of sliced bread (doesn't everyone eat toast for Christmas dinner)? Put the bread in the toaster, and turn it the way the plates tell it.

It is not working for me, so I'm going to have to give up. I

turned the dial the correct directions (LRLR) and the number of places, and pulled the timer down, and it's just not happening.

Here's to hoping someone smarter than me can make toast. :s

Oh, geez. It's

Turning, then stopping, then turning again without pulling down the toaster thingy. Do all 4 at once, then push down.

Finally got the toaster to work and got a 3 digit code

it's the pink one, and it has the third musician cat for the band, which will give you the code for the light switch.

Once you turn off the lights (and go blind) you can

open the second box, get the key and go outside.

I had to get help on the toaster....I was following the number of arrows, instead of noticing the large dot on each plate.
