I found a happy coin

between the presents under the hippo, under the plant in the wall niche, and then I found a spade for the fireplace (next to Mr. Birdy mug), and used it to move the fire for a third happiness coin and a 4 digit code. The four digit code goes into the Mr. Birdy mug, which you use to get water and pour in the vaporizer. That will give you a math problem to solve, and you get the wreaths open (Star(1), Snow(4) and Stocking (7) for a flashlight (torch) and a code.

Use the flashlight under the bed for a screwdriver, and use the screwdriver on the box above the fireplace, to the left of Santa, and get a Happiness coin and a box of matches. Use the matches on the candles on the fireplace for the code to the Mr. Birdy boxes. That will get you the 5th happiness coin.

The code under the wreaths go to the Santa heads for another Happiness Coin (that should be 6 so far...)If you go to the right of the fireplace, there are 4 boxes with the four suits in a deck of cards. The only one that can be opened is the Spade one, and that gives a clue for the hippo (L,C,R,R,C,R) which will give you the knob for the spade box. You use the same code on the HCSD picture and get a key and a coin. The key is used to unlock the four boxes, and you get a triangle key from the Diamond box.

Use

the triangle key on the lock under the Mr. Birdy boxes, and get a pair of tongs. Use the tongs in the water jug and get the happiness coin from the fireplace spade and a ball with a key in it. Use the key on the post box and get the last coin and the final code for the cabinet to the left of the fireplace. Get a heart shaped key and you can leave.

I advise you to save before you leave, as this game has 3 endings.

4 happy coins found...hopefully I don't have to read letters on wheel, as too tiny....
That was interesting /w the water...now have SD.
Solved santa and now have 4 coins, /w 5th in sight.
Now 5th coin + matches.
See 6 colours, and now have 6st coin.
That hippo clue was strange.

reverse /r is L & L=middle.

Opened the 4 doors, after getting knob...that was strange as I hadn't seen any clue. 7th coin and then opened picture for 8th coin.

CSHSHD.

Found and used keys; now out /w Mr Hippo and Santa Coin.
Good game...still no idea as to the clue for the 4 Doors.
