this looks like a nice game but it's too dark (for me) to play. Have found key but can't see anywhere to use it. Also found

'power hose', vacuum cleaner and remote without a battery

Think I may need to give up now unless someone can tell me how to switch on the light? Thanks.

Very nice game.
So far have used:

TV remote, batteries, piano key, vacuum, key, eyeglasses, DVD, lightbulb, outlet strip

Still in inventory:

AC remote and electrical tape

Looks like I need:

knife or myself (scissors) and some wire

well now have a clipped piece of wire and don't know what to do with it - have tape and still need knife

use vacuum cleaner

found in left side of window area, to the right of AC unit

under TV stand (I think under DVD player), then check vacuum for "key"

key is actually a SD for the power panel on the wall in a hallway scene

once you open the power panel, place the wire and tape on detached wire, then turn the power breaker

this turns power on to the AC unit. Use AC remote to 'stuck' green escape key

Use wire(after applying the pliers) and tape in switchbox. Than flip switch

At last - got out after a break!. Thanks for all the help (I didn't expect to use the vacuum without plugging it in - silly me!)
