what is the point of this game?i dont get it all ive dun is look round and then got attacked by sum thing then it made me read a diary entry then i hav no idea what the hell im supposed to do?

Ummmmmm I don't get it all I figured there'd be like 7 different days with different puzzles but i finished the painting code thing read the note and then there's nothing to do and the walkthrough says it's over... but like there's no ending and even the last note said it was one of seven... Am i missing something here?
