HaHa! Loved the PC password....took me 2 attempts before it clicked.

The word was mentioned in the letter and is also displayed on the computer.

Found rubber band and now see 4 letters.
Now have shovel and 5 men.
I worked real hard and now have 8 men.
Checked inventory and now have 9 men; now 10 and out.
Fun game!
