I am so lost with that stupid animal puzzle. Am I missing something? I have...

a kitten picture from under the side table bordered in blue, a green bunny drawing, an orange butterfly from the light box, and a pink square next to the red pencil flower drawing in the pink book. I assume these mean blue cat, green bunny, orange butterfly, and pink flower, but when I put that into the puzzle and click the button nothing comes out on the little slider. What am I doing wrong? Can someone walk me through it?

Am I dumb? I completed the safe thing and the wall sort of moved and my screen is just green with a square outline. Is that the end? After all, the only door leads to the bathroom.
