Definite language barrier.

I had to look this up because it was bugging the heck out of me.

the paper with a circle apparently gives clues that it is the Japanese zodiac. Google the image. Now notice the numbers where the rabbit and boar would be. That gives you the answer rabbit(4) x boar(12) =48. 48 x 12 = 576.

Oh...and there are two endings.
