In Cube Escape: Case 23 you need to investigate the mysterious death of a woman. Collect all the evidence and discover the gateway to Rusty Lake. Click on the arrows to navigate inside the cube. Interact with objects by clicking. Select found items in your inventory and click somewhere on screen to use them.

For the books

There's a small arrow under the first one

the all green one with the spiral at the top.

The next one is the one with the green and yellow stripe, the swirl at the bottom, and the cross on top...Just find the next books by the same characteristics as the previous book, with something slightly different on the next book.

I hope that makes sense....

It only took me a week to get to the last chapter, only to find out it's timed. I dislike timed puzzles.

Have #1,#2,& #3 papers and unlocked R/S cabinet...

Back zipper on dress of body.

Keep placing into a different doll so that it modifies the item until a key appears.

Not getting the flies; two were eaten, one was pushed away by a 'finger'...?
Not sure what to do /w books, or the cigar; I have 3 of the 4 crosswords completed, need the painter's name...
Yes! Figured out fish and now have key...

First turn fly on fire (finger from snail), then feed to middle fish (Note: click on/off plants to direct fly.)

Now have final crossword plus, another clue(books?), but I don't understand it...?
Figured out how to lifted all the books, except the grey one but nothing happened...?
Got it! Found secret drawer.....

Book Symbol Order is: 6, +, l, square, diamond, arrow, grey book...may have to click grey book again to level, then click on shelf to lift.

Lift books with matching symbols - before switching to next symbol ensure book contains the symbol you are selecting next. (eg/ if lifting '+' books, make sure the last '+' book also contains the next symbol; eg/ 'l'). Last book is grey book, therefore 2nd to last must be arrow /w grey.

Trying to match shape clue /w secret drawer, but not getting it. Also, not getting phone number....
Found something else on the body. Weird, but now have next key and now 4th paper.

Bug in mouth...click until under iron, & burn.

I am not getting symbols....I thought I understood 1,2 & used cigar to get 4, but still not getting it....
Yes! I finally figured it out and now have phone number; this is hard but fun!

Look at each paper (1..4)then use cigar to burn the folder picture at precisely where you see the image of the 1..4 papers. eg/ burn the block in her tray to get symbol#1 for paper#1, etc...

Used phone and now have safe combo....
Now in his OFFICE...

Solved paper pieces clue and now have 3 numbers (that was neat!).

Type, in order, words that are underlined...pause after each word so picture can develop.

Placed black cube, but looks like I need a 2nd one...
I traced out the numbers and placed map, but I'm not getting it...?
I think I am stuck.....
Got map figured out...I had it backwards. Now have 3 numbers, and now white cube.

Draw insections A,B, C on map...place numbers in projector and A,B,C locations are the 3 digits.

Click lady and give egg.

Placed cube, now have light...

Playing with doors I'm able to open. Now have key, picture, sliders, bird skull, ink, 2nd picture, solved slider to get 3rd picture

Set sliders as per green lines on another door...then both open.

Still need to open 4 more doors...moving onto slider puzzles (#2 is very hard)
Oh No! Finally got #2 and found out my picture was wrong....exited and started from scratch and found that the 'correct' picture is only a few moves.
Placed black cube. Received eyeball when statue face done correctly.
Playing with eyeballs...now have birdseye, then gem, then snail...placed both items and now have key and watering can; now a fetus and now a heart and now scissors.

Put ink on fetus jar.

Entered 3 digits, used candle.

Black dot shows where to break wall.

Put oil on lit candles as per L/R.

Has help arrived...? Weird!
The CABIN.....
I got the cogs turning, but couldn't get the pipes done in time.
4th try....I now have cogs & pipes done....still dying!
I GIVE UP!!!!
I am really ticked off; this was such a good game and I can't finish it as I can't beat the clock!!!!!
