I didn't get the colours...tried to follow picture but just lucky click.
Also just lucky on gears as I didn't comprehend.

It took me a minute to figure both of these out.

if you click the clue it shows you a reflection...also note there is more than one blue

if you leave the gear on it rotates back and forth when you click the button. Click the button once then remove the gear. Click it again then place the gear back and click again
