How do you open the safe under where you put the donut?

am i missing something ,. i have 4 batteries , and put them into the remote , and nothing happens , is there more then these 4 batteries ?

I just want to say that I love these games, but I was here this morning and I could not get out. I did exactly the same thing now and got out with out any problems. I just wanted to say that it wasn't just me

walkthrough

open letter, take green paper
take batteri from golden bowl
click at the bottom of golden bowl to get key
click under safe with glass doors to get batteri
go left
take remote
take batteri from globe
go left
take rake
take key from flower
go left
take soda
take note from toaster
use key on green box to get donut
use rake on flowery rug many many MANY times, to get screwdriver
use screwdriver on board under fish to find grey box
password 200115
take mentos
put soda in the corner with arrow and open it
use mentos on soda to get batteri
use donut on platform by the window to get batteri
open the sliding safe under window
password Abu
use key on safe under pinboard
order 4000 + 2000 x 5 - 10000 x 2 + 1911
it opens the safe with glass doors
get spatula from safe with glass doors
use spatula on "danger piranas" poster to get batteri
use spatula on drawer with toaster to get mallet
use mallet on drawers in the dresser to get wrench
use wrench on the upper part of fishy thing
open the lid
put batteries in remote
use remote on key to get it
use key on safe above the fishy thing
put the colors in order on the right side
yellow blue green red
and it turns green
go to first picture (with dresser and safe with glass doors)
use hammer on the bottom part of metal door
press green button or yellow arrow

I give up, for some reason things in this game just are not working for me at all, and I don't mean that I don't know what to do either. I just can not type in a password in the safe under the window
