I'm not sure how you managed that. Are you sure you just didn't forget that you opened it? Unless you BF'd alot of this game, each cb was necessary for me to finish.

Replayed...door opend without 3 colour safe. I played together with Old Biker the first time and he never opend it as well.

I went back as well, I didn't have to open it, but it does contain the shell boat crab clue.

a screwdriver , the fruit combo, the shell combo, the four circle buttons or the 3 color hint.

I know. I don't think you need everything. Just

run the rag over the number and put it in and the door opens.

Voila! Done. Although I did go back and find some more things to take on my picnic.
