I got past it after posting. I'm now stuck after the purple door. It says to go to 8 and I got a black key. I don't know where to go after that.

never mind. I just got past it. Didn't know that there was another think I needed from another door.

to get the purple key take the branch from the door with the trees, light it with fire from and melt the snowman. The purple key is behind him.

Did you input the code?? If you do that, you will hear a sound and you will not be able to change the numbers anymore... And then you have to use the purple key..
