Having trouble with the 4-digit box. I thought it might be

1816, which is what the Roman numerals on the boat equals, or 3124, which is what EG24 found (how I don't know).

Neither one works on the box. Another walkthrough has it at

2316

. It worked, but I don't know the logic behind it.
